Data, insight and reporting

  • Producing first rate commercial analysis which will be clear, concise and insight focused.  The role holder will be expected to add to collective responsibility for the entire Commercial Finance team’s analysis and reporting environment, constantly stiving for improved quality.

  • Alongside analysis this role will need to support with an element of regular reporting, developing first class reporting solutions and looking for ways to make them more efficient.

  • Modelling of scenarios, working with key stakeholders, and production of honest and comprehensive post investment appraisal with an outcome focus.

  • Comfortable with both financial and non-financial inputs to draw conclusions.

Financial control

  • Responsibility for production of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans (together “financial plans”) or parts thereof for areas of Greene King’s Commercial offering.  This is likely to include collective responsibility for areas of financial plans alongside peers.

  • Take responsibility for key processes such as menu or business case sign off and post investment review, producing relevant governance submissions.
