Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time) | Greencross Wellington Road & Mount Barker | Adelaide Hills, SA

Greencross Wellington Road is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working a minimum of 3 days per week (approximately 24+ hours per week) across both Greencross Wellington Road and our recently opened Greencross Mount Barker clinic.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working across multiple clinic environments, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and utilising their nursing skills every day.

Our Wellington Road clinic is equipped with:

• IM3 dental equipment
• Multi-parameter monitoring
• In-house pathology analysers
• Two consultation rooms
• Dedicated surgery suite
• Treatment and hospitalisation areas

About the Role

As an integral member of our nursing team, you'll be involved in all aspects of patient care and clinic operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking general nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative care
• Supporting medical, surgical, pathology, and hospital patients
• Assisting with emergency and critical care cases when required
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
• Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, and over the phone
• Supporting reception and administrative duties when required
• Working collaboratively across both clinic locations to deliver exceptional patient care

No two days are ever quite the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and a busy clinical environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Has 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
• Demonstrates strong communication and customer service skills
• Is confident across both medical and surgical nursing duties
• Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
• Brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Has experience using RxWorks (preferred but not essential)
