Greencross Vets Noarlunga is looking for an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to join our team.
We're open to both part-time and full-time applicants, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. For the right candidate, a full-time role can be tailored to include a combination of practice management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts, providing valuable hands-on support to the team while staying connected to the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

About the Role
As Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
This position can be structured as either:
- Part-time Practice Management (minimum 30 hours per week), or
- Full-time Practice Management, incorporating management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts to support the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the nursing and reception teams
- Creating and maintaining a positive, engaged workplace culture
- Managing rostering, workflow, and team coordination
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
- Monitoring clinic performance and key business metrics
- Supporting client service excellence and patient care standards
- Managing stock control and inventory processes
- Ensuring clinic compliance and operational standards are maintained
- Working closely with the Vet Director and regional leadership team
- Driving team engagement, retention, and professional development
- Identifying opportunities to improve clinic operations and efficiency
- Providing hands-on nursing or reception support where required (for full-time applicants)

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous Practice Management, Head Nurse, or veterinary leadership experience
- Has experience leading and developing teams
- Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
- Is confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment
- Has a strong understanding of client service excellence
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and professionalism
- Is passionate about supporting and developing people
- Has strong business and operational skills
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Has experience with veterinary practice management systems such as RxWorks (advantageous but not essential)
Veterinary industry experience is highly desirable and will be highly regarded.
