About the Role

As an integral member of our veterinary team, you'll be involved in all aspects of nursing and patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Preparing patients for surgery and assisting in theatre
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Collecting blood samples and performing diagnostic testing
  • Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Educating clients on preventative healthcare, treatments, and post-operative care
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the clinic
  • Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and infection control standards
  • Delivering outstanding client service and patient care

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Has 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
  • Is knowledgeable and confident across veterinary nursing procedures
  • Demonstrates strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills
  • Has excellent animal handling abilities
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Can confidently prioritise and manage a varied workload
  • Is reliable, accountable, and a genuine team player
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Is passionate about continuous learning and professional development
