Vet Associate required for a part-time, role across two clinics in Sydney’s south.

We are looking for an experienced small animal veterinarian to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave cover from September 2026. You will work across our closely situated Greencross Mortdale and Punchbowl clinics. On offer is 20-25 hours per week across three days.

Greencross Mortdale is a busy clinic with a loyal, longstanding client base that are like family to us. We have 3 spacious consulting rooms, a large treatment room area with ICU cages, separate cat and dog wards, radiology room and a large lunch area upstairs tucked away from the hustle and bustle! Only a short 20mins from Sydney's iconic Cronulla Beach, we assure you a positive work-life balance so you can enjoy your surrounds.

Greencross Punchbowl is a modern purpose-built practice, located 30 minutes from Sydney CBD. Tailored to suit our small animal patients, with an outstanding sterile surgery, pathology suite, treatment and imaging areas and spacious consulting rooms, our clinic is designed to allow you to practice to the highest of standards. Our exceptional patient care is adored by our long-standing client base, that trust our advice.

We are a supportive, knowledgeable, caring team looking for an experienced vet to join our team. We regularly share our ideas and collaborate to achieve the best patient and team outcomes. Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. Collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues is always welcomed. 

This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 3 years post-graduation experience, who is comfortable consulting, diagnosing and treating companion animals with autonomy. 

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
