Our team is confident managing complex procedures, including recent mast cell tumour removals with skin‑flap reconstruction. Nurses are actively involved in:

• Surgical support
• Complex wound management
• Post‑operative care and follow‑up

Learning is shared openly, and nurses with additional experience and training support others — you’re never expected to “just cope” on your own.

We offer competitive hourly rates, with higher pay available for nurses who hold advanced registration with the Veterinary Practice Board and bring a strong, demonstrated clinical skillset.

Clinical environment

You’ll be supported by well‑resourced facilities, including:

• Full in‑house bloods (CBC, biochemistry, electrolytes)
• X‑ray and ultrasound
• Cautery
• Dedicated cat and dog wards
• Modern, specialised surgical suite
• Three multiparameter monitors, including capnography

Our vets have strong interests in soft‑tissue surgery and ultrasonography, with advanced training that benefits the whole team.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• 2+ years’ clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse
