Greencross South Tamworth is seeking a confident and capable veterinarian for sole charge weekend and on-call emergency work. If you're experienced and thrive in high-impact situations, this is your chance to lead, learn, and earn—receiving 50% of all professional fees billed for out-of-hours emergencies.

What You’ll Encounter: Weekend shifts typically involve a dynamic mix of cases including:

  • Sore ears and lacerations
  • Dog attacks and blocked cats
  • Poisonings and snake bites
  • Car accidents and other urgent presentations

You’ll be supported by a qualified nurse during after-hours shifts, ensuring you're never alone when it matters most.

    Qualifications

    This position is best suited to a veterinarian with a minimum of five years post-graduate experience, who is confident managing a variety of emergency presentations independently. Applicants must be eligible for veterinary registration the Veterinary Board. Strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work autonomously in a sole charge capacity are essential for success in this role.
