Veterinary Director - Greencross Vets St Kilda
- Full-time
Company Description
Greencross Vets are coming to St Kilda!
We’re excited to announce a brand-new clinic opening in the heart of St Kilda, and we’re on the lookout for a Vet Director to lead the way when doors open in late 2025.
As Vet Director, you’ll play a key role in hand-picking your team - both vets and nurses. This is your chance to build your dream team: a group of passionate professionals who love coming to work and are loved by their clients in return.
If you’ve been dreaming of working in a clinic that feels like your own - but aren’t quite ready to open one from scratch - this could be your dream come true.
This site also offers a profit share arrangement - we’re seeking a vet who’s truly invested in making this clinic a success. Greencross will reward that commitment with the opportunity to share in the profits.
Our team will guide you through the details, but here’s what some of our current partners have to say:
“Less risk with already well-established practices with years of financial data to track and predict returns. Great opportunities for increased return on investment for newer growing practices.”
“A safe space to learn and nurture skills in business. Compared to starting or operating a private clinic independently, there is a high level of support from inception of a new clinic to operating a busy one, without bearing the full risk and responsibility alone.”
“Improved income without having to own a clinic or be a specialist. Buying a business, everything relies on yourself, but in this model, Greencross still helps with all the extra business requirements above being a vet and managing a team/schedule e.g. payroll, HR, education, client complaints, internal complaints... all the things that can be very challenging for vet-only trained individuals.”
The standalone clinic is centrally located, just off Acland Street and close to the dog park. It’s also a short walk from our St Kilda Petbarn team who will direct new patients your way. It’s a modern, well-equipped space with on-site parking.
