About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Director with a minimum of 4 years’ post-graduate experience, who brings not only clinical expertise but also strong leadership skills. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the clinic’s direction while mentoring junior vets and nurses, fostering their growth and development.
In this role, you’ll work independently and collaboratively, using evidence-based diagnoses and treatment plans. With access to our extensive specialist network, you’ll always have support from a team of knowledgeable colleagues.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team, ensuring high standards of veterinary care and client satisfaction
- Diagnose, treat, and manage cases independently, using evidence-based practices
- Mentor junior vets and nurses, creating a collaborative learning environment
- Handle a diverse caseload, from routine check-ups to complex cases
- Communicate effectively with clients, guiding them through treatment options
- Contribute to the clinic’s growth and reputation in the local community

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary degree accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) or have completed NAVLE, AVE, or similar exams.
