Animal Emergency Centre Varsity Lakes is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Director to join their team!

The Animal Emergency Centres (AECs) provide premier after-hours vet care to sick and injured pets, and today it is a part of the largest emergency and specialist group in Australia, hosting the largest contingent of Emergency Veterinarians and Criticalists in the Country.

    You will be the clinical leader assisting to create a thriving, harmonious and supportive workplace.  You would assist with reporting and history reviews as well as assisting the Business Manager with other management tasks.

    AEC Varsity Lakes is a purpose built 24/7 emergency and critical care centre with everything you will need to practice at your best and provide outstanding clinical care including multi-parameter patient monitors, in-house laboratory with PT/APTT and blood gas analysis, Endoscope, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, and an on-site Ventilator for immediate and ongoing care. 

    Qualifications

    To be considered for this role, you will have the following expertise and experience:

    • Experienced and driven vet with at least 3 years’ experience in Emergency
    • Experience in ECC is essential with memberships highly regarded
    • A passion for leading and motivating a team and creating a supportive, learning environment
    • Exceptional organisation, communication and management skills
    • Compassionate Vet with a strong patient focus
