Since opening in January 2023, our multidisciplinary veterinary hospital has been providing western Melbourne pet owners and their pets with access to GP, Emergency, and Specialist services. Our team is also dedicated to supporting future veterinary practitioners studying at The University of Melbourne with valuable clinical experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our inaugural veterinary team and join our new Clinical Director, Dr Fiona Witham.
With over two decades of experience, Fiona is dedicated to clinical excellence and fostering a positive workplace culture. Fiona holds multiple advanced qualifications, including memberships in the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, and has extensive experience in veterinary education and leadership.
Fiona has a proven track record in training and developing veterinary teams, delivering high-quality clinical education, and ensuring exceptional patient care and client service. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of veterinarians and is committed to the highest standards of veterinary practice.
Job Description
We are driven to develop a strong culture team delivering excellent veterinary care and customer service to the Western Melbourne region, where your ideas, suggestions and participation will be valued.
This role will suit veterinarians with a keen interest in enhancing their skills in medicine and surgical cases, utilising advanced medical equipment and gaining invaluable experience and job satisfaction while mentoring final-year veterinary students undertaking clinical placements.
Greencross Veterinary Hospital at the University of Melbourne Werribee campus will offer a full-service small animal general practice and referral service, including internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, Neurology and Radiology, as well as providing excellence in clinical training for University of Melbourne veterinary students.
