Spinneys was first established in 1924 by Arthur Spinneys in the suburbs of Alexandria Egypt, to provide consumers with a friendly shopping environment where they can find high quality fresh produce, groceries, and baked goods at a fair price.
Spinneys opened its doors to Lebanese shoppers in 1948 in the old Beirut Souks, and went on to expand its stores in Raouche, Verdun, Hamra and Jnah, to offer customers a convenient one-stop shopping experience.
Due to civil war happening in Lebanon at that time, Spinneys stopped their operations in 1976. However, they overcame these challenges, reopened their doors twenty-two years later, and pioneered the concept of hypermarkets in Lebanon in 1998 through a new flagship store in Dbayeh. As this success was tremendous, it led Spinneys to expand its branches and open additional stores across Lebanon once again.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented D365 Commerce Developer & ERP Support Specialist to contribute to the development, customization, and support of our Dynamics 365 Commerce solution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our ERP system, ensure smooth business operations, and enhance the overall user experience for our ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of D365 Commerce and ERP support functions, with a strong focus on ensuring seamless integrations and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- D365 Commerce Development:
- Customize, configure, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between D365 Commerce and other internal systems, including ERP, CRM, and external platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements D365 ERP features.
- Ensure the proper implementation of commerce modules such as order management, inventory management, and payment processing.
- Provide recommendations on best practices for D365 Commerce platform architecture and system optimizations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to the D365 Commerce environment.
- ERP Support Functions:
- Provide support for Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance and Operations) and other enterprise systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Resolve user issues, identify root causes, and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and configurations to enhance ERP functionalities.
- Collaborate with various business units to address ERP-related challenges and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Conduct regular monitoring and testing of the ERP system to ensure it meets the organization’s needs.
- Develop user training materials and documentation for ERP processes.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working as a D365 Commerce Developer, with a strong understanding of the platform and its modules.
- Solid experience in supporting and troubleshooting ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
- Experience with integrating D365 Commerce with other Microsoft solutions and third-party applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Commerce, including customization and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including ERP functionalities.
- Experience with X++ development and debugging.
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O ERP and APIs for system integration.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and Azure services is a plus.
- Experience with SQL and data integration techniques.
