Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, implementing processes to improve efficiency, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling.

• Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including coaching, training, performance management, and scheduling.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Implement and maintain efficient processes for inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling to improve warehouse productivity and reduce costs.

• Oversee the maintenance of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.

• Ensure accurate inventory counts and monitor inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize stock-outs.

• Review and monitor warehouse KPIs, including order accuracy, fill-rate, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Liaise with other departments, including production, sales, and procurement, to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain operations.

• Manage outbound and inbound shipment processes and coordinate with Logistic department to ensure shipments are delivered on time and in full.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations, including process improvement, and technology adoption.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or relevant business field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management in an FMCG company or relevant industry.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse workgroups.

• Analytical abilities, including the ability to develop insights from data-driven decision-making models.

• Proficient in relevant software applications (Excel, WMS, TMS, or similar).

• Experience with forklift truck operation and a current forklift truck driving qualification.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• High degree of attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

• Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
