JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: Project Manager - Oracle
Location: ATC Gurgaon Office
New/Replacement New On-roll position
SUMMARY:
Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Oracle EBS projects at ATC. The person would be responsible for Project Management, Team Management, Operations, Development, Testing and Support Services functions together to achieve improved business and financial performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 10 to 14 years of IT experience. Should have worked as a project manager for at least 4 years.
 Proficient in handling functional as well as technical teams working on Oracle EBS. Should have good understanding of software tools and technologies & strong database concepts.
 Should have good logical reasoning & technology breadth.
 Understands different programming languages and ability to work thru problems in coding, testing and deployment. Should have good understanding of technology.
 Should have experience of at least 2 end to end Oracle implementations.
 Should have worked on RDBMS and possess knowledge of SQL. Should be aware of integration technologies, and technical architecture.
 Good understanding of customization and Bolt on (RICE) developments.
 Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
 Experience of end-user interaction for requirements gathering, understanding customer needs and working with multiple groups to coordinate and carry out functional activities related to any new development, maintenance, and production support activities.
 Experience in project management using agile methodologies, estimation.
 Identify the end users pain points, design automated tools/solutions by taking into account industry best practices, and drive their implementation.
 The incumbent will need to manage delivery, client relationship management and service improvement.
 The incumbent will have to directly manage multiple technology teams including people management.
 Should have experience working in onshore-offshore delivery model.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Experience of managing minimum team size of 10 - 12 members.
 Resource management – should have experience in people management, work allocation, and their appraisals.
 Building and managing an effective team from offshore centre. Includes hiring, training, coaching and measuring the effectiveness of the team members
 Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients.
 Prior experience of managing vendor resources is a plus.
 Conduct performance reviews of team members, identify areas of improvement and give feedback.
 Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner
 Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution
 Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 Degree holder in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.)/MBA/MCA or equivalent.
 Should have experience of managing at least 3-4 technical projects.
 Experience of leading a group of IT professionals.
 Experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile preferred
 Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience in design, development and technical management of IT projects.
