Job Description

The Director, Client Success is responsible for the overall strategic management of a portfolio of customers at Grantek and those managed by their team. This includes
ultimate responsibility for value sales, revenue and client satisfaction target ensuring historical performance of their portfolio accounts are maintained and exceeded. The Director, Client Success is also responsible to hit goals set across specific verticals, horizontals and geographies.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage inbound revenue for portfolio of customers

  • Manager value selling and delivery value according to budgeted amount

  • generating pricing proposals, receiving, processing and winning leads from Marketing, Partners and other sources

  • Create and implement strategies for both existing and new clients to maximize value and financial success

  • Collaborate with finance team to review and consult regarding contracts and legal agreements

  • working with marketing team to provide case studies and content in order to highlight industry and customer success.

  • Assist HR in developing and conducting performance reviews, promote personal and professional development to support Grantek's overall strategy

  • Work with delivery and engineering groups to be in the know of existing clients, and associated strategies

  • Uphold the quality within department by enforcing standards, analyzing and resolving problems and recommending improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and customer standards/practices

  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats); analyze and implement effective responses.

  • Build and maintain a team of knowledgeable, skilled teammates (including management) who function in compliance with all regulatory requirements and the Grantek objectives.

  • Help direct reports overcome any organizational obstacles encountered.
     
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships at key customers.
     
  • Understand client organization chart, funding/reward structure and motivation.
     
  • Ensure all forecasts for potential work are updated and accurate.
     
  • Participate and manage deal review and risk analysis processes.
     
  • Perform monitoring and reporting for all current client engagements.
     
  • Meet regularly to review progress versus Budget and Objectives.  
     
  • Review and consult with appropriate counsel for contracts and legal agreements.
     
  • Participate in workforce planning activities with Delivery and Engineering to ensure maximized utilization and profitability of the organization.
     
  • Determine direction and planning for future technology and sales strategies; plan for future skill sets and market analysis
     
  • Conduct research on potential opportunities within existing customer accounts.
     
  • Be meticulous in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and logs in sales CRM
     
  • Actively keep up to date with new and relevant emerging business trends as related to their discipline; attend seminars/tradeshows/workshops on related industry topics; 
     
  • Conduct industry research and market analysis; analyze industry trends impacting our services/products; determine direction and planning for future strategies; review professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and skills in business practices and standards
  • Engineering or Business degree in related discipline, or equivalent accreditation or demonstrated experience

  • Leadership and management experience

  • 8+ years' experience successfully leading and managing teams of consultants, engineers and / or technologists, in North America, OR 10+ years' experience successfully leading and managing teams in an operational / technology leadership role in a manufacturing environment in North America;
