The Sales Manager will be a member of Grantek’s Distribution Sales team, and will be responsible for the marketing, demand creation, quoting and closing of sales for Systec-Solutions cleanroom IT/OT hardware and software products.  The focus will be on the Life Sciences vertical, which will include pharmaceutical manufacturing, both solid and liquid dosing, biopharma companies, as well as medical device applications, such as packaging of contact lenses.  You will also coordinate with Grantek’s Services Sales team on cross selling Grantek’s Services offerings.  This role is primarily an inside sales focus but will offer opportunities for face-to-face client engagement including client presentations and sales via tradeshows across N. America.

Job Description

Your main focus will be to:

  • Achieve your sales goal
  • Manage your sales pipeline
  • Drive the full sales cycle
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and quotes. These may be phone or in-person based.
  • Be able to explain the value proposition of the Systec & Solutions product line to penetrate and create opportunities with pharmaceutical accounts
  • Provide content to Marketing to drive demand and brand recognition for Systec & Solutions products, including website content, white papers, value propositions, collateral.
  • Understand competitive product lines, and be able to effectively sell against them.
  • Leverage Grantek SME’s as needed to demonstrate Grantek’s expertise in both pharmaceutical and IT/OT application.

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit; self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    This includes understanding of building relationships and making long term connections.
    Consistent follow-up
    Writing proposals and quotes
    Presenting technical product lines
  • Access to a personal vehicle when needed for local client meetings.
  • Ability to travel outside of the State or Country. All expenses will be paid via company credit card
  • Understanding that this role is independent and will not have daily supervision. You must be independent and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Technical sales experience (preference on hardware sales in a highly professional environment)
  • Preference on an individual with post-secondary education in a technical or Business/Communication/Marketing focus.
