Job Description

The Director of Cybersecurity is responsible for: Increase the market leadership presence and position of Grantek in the focused areas of cybersecurity and driving successful high-value large scale projects and initiatives. They will be a cross-functional leader who will guide all functional divisions of Grantek to ensure successful growth in the Strategic Initiative (SI) Pursuits. This leader will focus on developing Grantek’s cybersecurity story, the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and creating the business plan to drive customer awareness, sales growth, and engineering capability.
   
Deliverables

  • Managing the overall success of the Strategic Initiative
    • Continually analyze the market and competitor landscape 
    • Collaborating with the leaders of each department ensure Grantek has the capability and capacity to perform the services and type of work 
    • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-value consultative services that lead to large scale initiatives and projects
  • Responsible for defining the requirements for Subject Matter Expertise in the specialty.  This includes:
    • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the market place.  
    • Become an ambassador to the industry. This includes contribution to the field (e.g. participation in national and international organizations, participation in industry standards development, peer round tables, etc.) 
  • Develop a reputation as an influencer.  This includes activities that make the SI relevant in the marketplace (e.g. developing white papers that address technical issues, blogs, speaking at industry events, etc.) 
  • Be responsible for strategic planning.
  • Supports the sales team with strategic planning on target accounts, development of sales presentations, and sales calls.   This includes sales training and competency development.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop strategy for branding, messaging, and marketing collateral
  • Support innovation in the incubation and initiative of new strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with teams to determine competency requirements for specialists, project managers and engineers.

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in product management (P&L), product marketing, and business development
  • Demonstratable industry and technical knowledge of industrial cybersecurity 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on translating complex technical content into digestible, persona specific, impactful messaging
  • Energetic and tenacious team player with a passion for helping customers solve complex problems with innovative technology
  • Bring a problem-solver mentality to proactively identify and prioritize problems; continuously working towards resolution and for the benefit of the team at-large
  • Track record for working independently with minimal supervision
