The Sales Manager is responsible for the marketing, demand creation, quoting and closing of sales for Systec-Solutions products.  The focus will be on the Life Sciences vertical, which will include pharmaceutical manufacturing, both solid and liquid dosing, as well as some medical device applications, such as packaging of contact lenses.  Secondarily, there may be a market in the Food & Bev vertical. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate with Grantek Sales on cross selling Grantek’s offerings.

Job Description

  • Understand the Systec product line to penetrate and create opportunities with pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Leverage Grantek and cross-sell capabilities
  • Manage revenue through exceeding pipeline goals
  • Drive full sales cycle
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and quotes. These may be phone or in-person based.
  • Manage marketing efforts for Systec including website content, white papers, value propositions, collateral.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in a highly technical environment
  • Access to a personal vehicle when needed for local client meetings.
  • Ability to travel outside of the Province or Country. All expenses will be paid via company credit card
  • Understanding that this role is independent and will not have daily supervision. You must be independent and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Technical sales experience (preference on hardware sales in a highly professional environment)
  • Preference on an individual with post-secondary education in a technical field. Business/Communication and Marketing course experience is an asset
