Interview Process

• First Stage: Technical interview via video platform
• Second Stage: In-Person technical assessment and written test, Bangalore, India

As a key member to Grantek's IT team, you will be using various technologies listed below in the qualification section to create an Intranet that is more user-friendly for the entire Grantek population.  Responsible for managing client expectations and satisfaction, through effective written and communication skills. 

This role is located in Grantek's Bangalore, India office. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of IT, and indirectly to the Engineering Manager.

• Strong knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML and CSS
• 4+ years professional experience with PHP
• Experience using Object Relational Mapper library such as Doctrine
• Experience building interfaces utilizing Javascript, jQuery and MVC framework
• 3+ years MySQL experience with exposure to complex databases involving multi-table joins
• Familiarity with Linux environments with good command line knowledge
• Working knowledge of SVN/Git and source control fundamentals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self starter that works with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with and debug large code bases
• Experience writing unit and functional tests
• Possesses at least one of the following, or is working towards achieving: B.Sc. Computer Science or related Degree and/or Diploma/Certification.
•  Fluent verbal and written skills in English
