Job Description

Summary
The Sales Department Manager is responsible for all sales in conjunction with the Operations Teams to ensure the most profitable outcomes for each business operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an annual strategic sales plan to include the following, but not limited to, categories for approval by VP of Operations

  • Retreats: churches, schools, family reunions, corporate businesses
  • Members: private events, internal events, paid events
  • Weddings: brunches, late night events, rehearsal dinners, meet and greets
  • Recreational events: ski, bike, golf, fishing, hiking
  • Wholesale: tickets, rentals, lessons

- Provide data analysis and, through the use of current tools, maintain appropriate sales data and tracking that includes, but is not limited to, lead source, conversion rate and categories
- Oversee the Amenity Sales Team in carrying out sales goals monthly, provide forecast as required by VP of Operations
- Maximize all commercial space with collaboration of Food & Beverage and Facilities
- Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of events by all departments involved to meet or exceed contract expectations

  • Establish an open line of communication from start to finish with each event contact to ensure an exceptional level of customer service

- Maintain feedback for quarterly report to ensure quality customer service and event execution

General Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures as needed (examples: Internal Invoicing, Cost Analysis)
- Create a budgetary summary of each event contract, which outlines operating expenses versus the revenue generated for each event to confirm profitability model for Granby Ranch
- Manage the resort Master Calendar
- Participate in revenue management meetings
- Prepare and report forecast for cash flow purposes as requested
- Conduct professional site tours for interested parties
- Responsible to provide event estimates and execute contracts
- Travel, occasionally, locally and nationally to participate in trade shows or conventions
- Other duties will be assigned as needed to support other members of the Amenity Sales Team

Education or Formal Training


- Graduation from a four year college or university desired.


- A 2-year degree with a minimum 3 years related work experience may substitute.


Experience


- Experience with Salesforce sales tool


- Two to four years of previous experience in the sales field.


Working Environment/ Physical Activities .


- Weekly schedule may vary based on company needs. Some weekend work will be required.


- Indoors and outdoors work required in a mountain environment with variable weather conditions.


- Bending, Kneeling & Lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
