We are a contracting firm working in the Baltimore and DC Metro areas and surrounding counties specializing in high end award winning projects including theaters and complete renovation and remodeling projects.

We are looking for a Lead Carpenter to assist our Gramophone Design & Build team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Framing
• Drywall
• Finish carpentry (including installation of trim/millwork, custom moulding, wall panels, case work and cabinetry)
• Door installation
• Crown moulding
• Installation of vinyl plank flooring

• Minor demolition on some projects

• 10 or more years experience
• Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications
• Experience with all of the job responsibilities listed above
• Top quality workmanship
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and motivate others
• Effective communication with subcontractors, material suppliers and division manager
• Time management is crucial for timely project scheduling and completion

REQUIREMENTS

• Own basic carpentry hand tools to be used on job sites
• Driver's License
• Drug Test
