Job Description
- Establishes open positions by meeting with managers to discuss their recruitment needs.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
- Determines applicant requirements by understanding job description and job qualifications.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements via online sites and internal job postings.
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions. Track turnaround time for open positions.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
- Attend and schedule community job fairs as needed.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Improves organization attractiveness by monitoring response to job offers, company benefits and perks.
- Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
- Utilize the Internet for recruitment: a. Post positions to appropriate Internet sources; b. Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment; and c. Use social/professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Understand current legal guidelines conducting interviews.
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
- Maintain database of applicants.
- Adhere to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
- Ensure Grace Best Practices are incorporated into all work performed and all interactions with staff and customers.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree preferred or have at least 1-3 years Recruiting experience
- Familiar with the legal aspects of hiring and interviewing
- Able to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong Customer Service experience
- Computer literate in current version of Word, Excel and Power Point
