Get to Know the Team

The Jabo Strategy and Planning team is the think tank and in-house strategy overseeing overall P&L and improve growth across all verticals businesses including mobility and delivery vertical. We help realize Grab's vision of becoming Southeast Asia's superapp by delivering essential everyday services that resonate with consumers in Indonesia. Our main focus is on developing executable business strategies that align with our mission of serving the community.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an associate with experience in financial planning until the execution. You will collaborate with several stakeholders to come up with business plan targets, track budget utilization, and oversee the financial performance. While creating spending reports is critical, this role also emphasizes business partnering as the employee needs to translate financial numbers into an actionable business action. You will be based on-site in Jakarta and report directly to S&P Budgeting and Monitoring Assistant Manager. You will be the finance business partner for S&P vertical leads, marketing business partner and execution team, regional operations, and country Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Contribute to the development of monthly forecasts and annual business plans, including gathering inputs, consolidating financial projections, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor budget consumption, identify spending patterns, and flag variances that require attention or immediate actions.
  • Design, build, and maintain performance dashboards that visualize key financial metrics, ensuring data accuracy and refreshes for stakeholder access.
  • Track financial targets against actual results, prepare periodic performance reports, and present findings to support strategic reviews and resource allocation decisions.
  • Document dashboard methodologies and reporting processes to ensure continuity and enable knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, finance, strategy, or business analysis. Experience in the technology industry / FMCG is an added value.
  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Understanding in financial and accounting metrics, especially profit and loss (P&L).
  • Experience in financial modelling, simulation and analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions). SQL/Python/R skills are advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
