Get to Know the Team
GrabMart is Grab's premier on-demand daily essentials and grocery delivery service, bringing everything from local storefronts to our customers' doorsteps. Operating within Grab's massive ecosystem, our mission is to deliver unmatched speed, convenience, and reliability to millions of consumers across Southeast Asia.
Get to Know the Role
As a Manager, Supply Chain Strategy & Planning , you will lead analytical planning that connects product/selections/SKU strategy, pricing decisions, and the supply chain operating model—so that GrabMart can grow efficiently while maintaining healthy contribution margins.
You will bridge the gap between raw data and executive decision-making by building business insight and strategy models, including operating framework and resource evaluation models, to improve efficiency across both product and customer outcomes. Working at the intersection of operations, finance, and data science, you will model complex scenarios and translate them into actionable recommendations.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Business Operating Model & Evaluation
Build and maintain an operating business optimization framework that turns strategy into an execution system, including decision rules, assumptions, and resource requirements.
Develop resource evaluation models to prioritize initiatives and allocate budgets/capacity based on expected business efficiency and contribution margin impact.
Product Assortment & Selection Strategy
Own assortment/selection strategy frameworks (e.g., category mix, SKU prioritization, and availability targets) driven by demand, substitution, and margin signals.
Define success metrics and inputs for selection decisions, ensuring changes improve product relevance, availability, and contribution economics.
Run scenario modeling to evaluate how selection changes impact sell-through, unit economics, and downstream customer outcomes.
Pricing, Subsidy & User Value Strategy
Design and refine merchandising pricing and fee/free-shipping structures using a cost-benefit approach that balances user conversion with margin and subsidy ROI.
Build pricing strategies that connect threshold design to user-side KPIs (e.g., AOV and conversion) and long-term value (e.g., repeat purchase).
Supply Chain Optimization & Monitoring
Optimize end-to-end operational efficiency, including process/service supply chain workflows and cost to protect contribution margin while improving user experience.
Improve fulfillment speed and SLA performance (e.g., lead time, on-time delivery, and service stability) through diagnosis, scenario analysis, and targeted interventions.
Business Metrics, Automation & Decision Support
Partner with Data Science and Engineering to define core business KPIs and ensure data integrity; build automated dashboards for executive monitoring.
Strengthen measurement frameworks linking metrics to business growth, efficiency, unit economics, and contribution margin etc.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Typically 5+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, management consulting, or e-commerce/product strategy, with proven ownership of end-to-end decision outcomes.
Demonstrated expertise in building business operating frameworks and resource evaluation models to prioritize initiatives, allocate capacity/budget, and drive contribution margin impact.
Proven ability to run scenario modeling for assortment/selection and to define selection success metrics (relevance, availability, sell-through, and contribution economics).
Experience optimizing and monitoring supply/fulfillment-related operational performance via KPIs (cost-to-serve / CPO trends, SLA/service stability), including dashboarding, alerting, and root-cause analysis.
Experience designing and evaluating experiments (A/B or quasi-experiments), including guardrails and measurement methodologies to drive iteration.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a first-principles approach to ambiguous business challenges.
Advanced data skills (SQL, Python/R, Tableau/PowerBI) and strong ability to translate data into operating insights, models, and executive-ready recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
