Get to Know the Role

This is a Senior Manager role reporting into the Head of Mobility Marketplace and is based onsite at the Grab Thailand office. You'll define, lead, and own the health and strategic direction of the Mobility Marketplace (GrabCar and GrabBike). You'll combine analytical rigour with business strategy and influence executive-level stakeholders. You'll lead the Regional Marketplace mandate to set strategy, design solutions, and drive cross-country marketplace performance, focusing on the Thailand Mobility market.

Key ownership areas include:

  • Defining and designing the country strategy for driver-partner supply health, productivity, quality, and retention
  • Owning the consumer pricing frameworks to maximize growth and profitability across multiple markets
  • Leading country strategic projects focused on service quality and platform reliability
  • Represent the TH mobility marketplace team in discussions with both local and cross-country forums
  • Development and mentorship of the rest of the TH mobility marketplace team

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You'll:

  • Define and own the long-term strategic vision for consumer pricing and marketplace mechanics across multiple mobility verticals, ensuring alignment with business growth targets and profitability goals
  • Design, champion, and iterate regional frameworks for driver-partner engagement models and incentive structures to ensure optimal acquisition, retention, and cost-efficiency across markets
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve platform reliability and ride experience quality, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance the passenger and driver experience
  • Conceptualise and design new mobility-related algorithms (e.g., dynamic pricing, ride matching, surge allocation) in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams to maximise regional performance
  • Serve as a thought partner and a subject matter expert to regional Product teams, influencing the long-term product roadmap based on mobility marketplace needs and strategic priorities
  • Interpret marketplace performance metrics and communicate findings to executive stakeholders, translating analytics into data-driven recommendations that inform major business decisions
  • Manage, develop, and mentor team members, providing guidance on analytical approaches and strategic thinking

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • At least 6 years of experience in strategic consulting, product management at a tech company, or a related field requiring data-informed decision-making
  • Experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate analysis and solution development
  • Experience driving P&L impact through strategic projects, with measurable outcomes in revenue growth, cost reduction, or efficiency improvements
  • Experience designing and implementing pricing frameworks or incentive structures in a multi-market environment, ideally within ride-hailing or mobility platforms
  • Experience leading projects across multiple business lines or countries, managing stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Experience presenting findings to C-level executives and influencing business decisions based on data-driven recommendations
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of 2 or more people, with responsibility for their professional development and performance
  • You can articulate strategic visions and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
