Get to Know the Team
GrabFood Growth and Strategy team is the growth engine of GrabFood. We are consumer-centric, growth-minded, data-driven, and intellectually rigorous. The core missions of the team are to drive platform growth, expand the market, sustainably accelerate customer demand and maximize business efficiency. To achieve this, our team scope includes Strategic Planning & Brainstorming, Data-Driven Experimentation, Deep-Dive Analyses, Project management and Implementation of key projects with cross-functional collaboration.
Get to Know the Role
You will balance strategic planning, team management, advanced analytics, problem solving, project management and stakeholder management - leading day-to-day coordination with related parties i.e. Product, Marketing, Operation, Driver and Merchant team on demand growth initiatives, while using data analysis to gain actionable insights (e.g. promo & incentive optimization, churn analysis, customer segmentation, etc.) and turn them into improvements and new initiatives.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will lead a high-performing team to maximize collective performance while encouraging individual career growth.
- You will provide guidance and feedback on daily work for the team to achieve platform growth.
- You will craft strategies to ensure GrabFood's competitive positioning and achieving P&L target.
- You will track performance and analyse short to medium term insights or issues affecting demand growth. This includes P&L performance, customer segmentation, conversion funnel optimization, churn analysis, market scans, competitor, experimentation analyses and others.
- You will design efficient promo, deal, delivery fee structures and other projects to drive sustainable demand growth and work with cross-functional teams to implement those projects.
- You will plan, forecast and manage budget spend on promos and other initiatives on a ongoing basis.
- You will manage multiple projects from end to end in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- You will puild presentations to influence senior stakeholders and promote data driven decision-making.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in financial services, management consulting, platform business, or technology firms.
- Experience mentoring and encouraging a high-performing team.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in analyzing complex data using Excel (Essential), Tableau and SQL.
- Quantitative discipline with business sense and able to articulate complex analyses to different audiences, and translating these to applicable business insights.
- Proficient in Project management, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written Thai and English.
