Get to know our Team:

Your team will be responsible for supply and demand generation within the Commission-Based Task (CBT) framework nationwide. Simply put, we build and manage a nationwide network of freelance agents to implement multiple field tasks for Grab. Our work covers multiple ecosystems—including merchant tasks, driver plans, and any new projects that Grab rolls out. We focus on recruiting the right agents, keeping them active, and managing our operational channels to ensure all tasks are completed smoothly.

 

Get to Know the Role:

You will design and build the nationwide strategic growth plan for the Merchant Ecosystem and agent acquisition within the CBT framework. We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented leader with good commercial acumen to increase sales pipelines and a proven track record of guiding operational teams to exceed aggressive targets. Based onsite at the Jakarta office, you will report directly to the Manager.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Manage the end-to-end task pipeline targeting the Merchant Ecosystem. Specifically, guide to use of Merchant Self-Served Ads, AI tools, and future ecosystem tasks. This is to achieve monthly active agent and completed task targets.
  • Design and implement strategic plans for cross-task agent acquisition, expanding the agent network beyond the merchant persona to support broader CBT needs.
  • Produce and deploy targeted strategies to boost each task channel within the MEX and agent pipeline to increase overall task completion and agent productivity.
  • Directly manage the daily operations of each channel within your pipeline, leading the three core operational tracks (Team Support, Team Tele, and Team Representative Office) to eliminate ground execution blockages.
  • Collaborate with regional Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to systematically ingest local merchant leads and integrate them into the MEX task pipeline.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on pipeline health and channel productivity, transforming field insights and data into relevant campaign adjustments or policy recommendations.
  • Maintain good relationships with internal Grab vertical task owners and external clients to ensure seamless delivery and transparent performance reporting.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in insurance/agency management, FMCG commercial leadership, or MLM corporate management.
  • An established network of contacts to build a freelance agent ecosystem from scratch.
  • Experience managing the entire freelance agent lifecycle—from strategic recruitment to boosting productivity through targeted tasks and field missions.
  • Understanding of supply chain management, specifically in balancing supply-demand dynamics, workforce distribution, and channel pipelines.
  • Mature leadership style with proven experience directly managing structured field or operational teams (e.g., customer support, telemarketing, or regional branches).
  • Data driven mindset with comfort conducting in-depth pipeline data analysis, tracking channel productivity, and preparing performance reports (MS Office, Google Workspace).
