Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The Business Operations Planning, Insights & Systems team operates as a crucial Country Ops-wide horizontal that drives structural health, tactical roadmap planning, tech infrastructure optimization, and compliance guardrails. Sitting alongside Dax & Mex Ops Teams, this department functions as the operational steering wheel and analytical core of the country organization. Our overarching mission is to transform elite execution forces into strategic business owners, ensuring our front-line teams scale safely, eliminate operational friction, and make data-driven decisions that push the business forward.
Get to Know the Role
In this key role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary portfolio designed to act as a force multiplier for Country Operations. You will directly govern four core subfunctions—Strategic Projects & Insights, Central Ops Governance, Systems & Automation, and Operational Enablement—unifying the Driver and MEx Ops teams to eliminate functional silos. As a primary advisor to Central Operations Leadership, you will maintain operational guardrails, optimize localized systems and processes, and champion operational capability across teams.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
While your focus will be on executing the department's roadmap and keeping cross-functional tracking seamless, your daily activities will include:
- You will facilitate country-level business planning cycles, maintain the quarterly OKR tracking matrix, and monitor operational performance metrics across verticals.
- You will design and coordinate the Central Ops Governance framework, conducting regular audits on standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tracking operational leakage or SLA breaches across teams.
- You will serve as the primary local touchpoint for Systems & Tooling automation, gathering local operational requirements, and working with regional product teams to deploy internal infrastructure features.
- You will spearhead the execution of the Operational Enablement strategy through the OneOps Academy, overseeing the curriculum design for business fluency, root cause analysis, systems thinking, and unit economics, etc to upskill the entire organization.
- You will manag day-to-day deliverables, performance, and timelines of contractual resources or FTTs assigned to specific operational projects.
- You will deliver data-backed insights, marketplace intelligence analyses, and localized business updates to senior country stakeholders.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Management, Industrial/Management Engineering, Data Science, or other quantitative fields.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategic planning, central PMO, or corporate operations.
- Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects, with a proven ability to lead and influence matrixed squads without direct formal authority.
- Solid experience implementing or auditing operational governance frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or operational risk workflows.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with Product, Engineering, or technical tooling teams to roll out system features or internal automations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly present data and operational trade-offs to senior vertical or operations leaders.
- Problem-solving and can-do attitude: a self-starter who enjoys diving into data to understand the root cause of problems and can work independently to propose structured solutions.
