Get to Know the Team
The GrabMart team is a dynamic team that collaborates with adjacent Grab functions within the Singapore Operations team to achieve business growth within the GrabMart vertical.
We build and scales reliable grocery and essentials experiences for consumers and partners, through improving selection, speed, and affordability.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an Associate to support the design, pilot, and scale of new operating models and to contribute to other high impact strategic initiatives.
You'll coordinate cross-functional execution, develop analyses and dashboards, support vendor management, and help bring new models from concept to launch—then iterate for cost, reliability, and customer experience.
You'll report to the Senior Manager of GrabMart, and report onsite at Singapore One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Strategy and Operating Model Design
- Support mapping end-to-end logistics flows and drafting operating model options (inventory positioning, consolidation, linehaul, customs/compliance, last-mile).
- Contribute to business cases, P&L scenarios, SLAs, and phased go-to-market plans.
- Support vendor sourcing and procurement (warehousing, linehaul, brokerage, last-mile); help prepare RFPs, compare bids, and track SLAs and QBRs.
Programme and Operations Execution
- Own defined workstreams within a broader project plan; track milestones, risks, and dependencies; drive weekly cadences and follow-ups.
- Optimize transit/fulfilment operations (inbound, pick/pack, consolidation, dispatch); document SOPs and recommended WMS/TMS configurations with guidance.
- Coordinate incident/exception management with service providers; run root-cause analysis and follow through on corrective actions.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Coordinate with 3PLs, warehouses, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Partner with internal legal, risk, and compliance on cross-border requirements.
Insights and Reporting
- Develop performance dashboards (cost per order, on-time delivery, lead time, fill rate, defects) and surface insights.
- Translate data into prioritised actions; propose experiments, track outcomes, and share updates with stakeholders.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have 1 to 3 years in logistics, grocery/retail operations, supply chain, management consulting, or program/project management in operations-heavy environments
- You have scoped, planned, and shipped cross-functional initiatives
- Advanced Excel/Sheets modeling and working SQL
- Familiarity with warehousing and logistics (WMS/TMS basics, inventory control, linehaul, customs/compliance, last-mile)
