Get to Know the Team
The Singapore Commercial team shapes and grows Grab's business in Singapore, contributing to our vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by delivering everyday services that matter most to consumers.
We focus on developing business strategies that help us serve our community, particularly by growing the accounts of businesses across GrabFood and GrabMart. By building close partnerships with merchants, we create plans and strategies to grow their sales and meet their needs across Grab's services such as GrabExpress, GrabPay, and GrabAds.
Get to Know the Role
The Merchant Growth Programme Manager, Scaled is a senior individual contributor role who leads the design, execution, and optimisation of programmes that drive merchant conversion, adoption, and long-term engagement. You will oversees two main functions: Merchant Programmes and Community & Merchant Engagement.
This role will report to the Lead, Commercial, Merchant Growth and be onsite at Singapore Grab office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Programme Management
- Work with the Lead of the Merchant Growth Team to oversee the delivery of merchant programmes that drive product adoption, conversion, and engagement at scale
- Partner with internal stakeholders to optimise CRM workflows, automation, and self-serve resources to improve merchant experience and operational efficiency
- Review and analyse programme performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes
Community & Merchant Engagement
- Develop outreach strategies through online and offline activations, including events, community groups, and educational projects
- Lead field sales and outreach teams to accomplish in-market engagement activities and merchant acquisition campaigns
- Build partnerships with industry associations, trade bodies, and external ecosystem partners to expand merchant engagement channels
- Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ops) to align outreach initiatives with broader business priorities
- End-to-end deal managing (including working with One Grab teams) to achieve growth in merchant accounts
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 5+ years of experience in programme management, merchant success, partnerships, community management, or field sales leadership
- Experience mentoring junior members of the team
- Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives and field-based outreach teams with measurable business impact
- Ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners
- Proficiency in CRM systems, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms
