Get to Know the Team

The Territory Strategy and Planning team is the think tank and in-house strategy overseeing overall P&L and improving growth across all verticals businesses including mobility and delivery verticals. Our main focus is on developing executable business strategies that align with our mission of serving the community.

Get to Know the Role

In this role, you will bridge financial planning and operational execution. You will collaborate with stakeholders to monitor budget utilization, track financial performance, and contribute to business planning cycles. You will report to Strategy & Portfolio Manager and will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Partner with S&P vertical leads, marketing BP and execution, regional operations, and FP&A teams to carry out the following:

  • Contribute to the development of monthly and annual business plans, including gathering inputs, consolidating financial projections, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor budget consumption, identify spending patterns, and flag variances that require attention or immediate actions.
  • Design, build, and maintain performance dashboards that visualize key financial metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely refreshes for stakeholder access.
  • Track financial targets against actual results, prepare periodic performance reports, and present findings to support strategic reviews and resource allocation decisions.
  • Document dashboard methodologies and reporting processes to ensure continuity and enable knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, finance, strategy, or business analysis. Experience in the technology industry / FMCG is an added value.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Business Management, Economics or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting metrics, especially P&L.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, simulation and analysis.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing financial dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions). SQL/Python/R skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
