Get to Know the Team

Our team drives Grab's growth by optimizing media spend, aligning resources, and building campaigns. As a strategic partner, we collaborate across Marketing, Operations, media partners, and agencies to ensure seamless execution and successful product launches. With expertise in performance marketing, we maximize campaign efficiency and return on investment through data-driven insights. Our end-to-end campaign management ensures every media touchpoint aligns with Grab's goals. Through cross-channel integration, we create a cohesive presence across all digital channels, directly affecting Daily Transacting Users (DTUs) and GMV.

 

Get to Know the Role

You will lead daily performance marketing strategy and operations for Grabs e-commerce overseeing markets cross SEA. Pioneer to achieve user acquisition and GMV, cross-products adoption and reactivation targets across all digital channels while providing expertise to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will initiate projects to achieve efficiency and performance of business vertical growth.

 

You will report to the Performance Marketing Lead - SEA. Grab bases this role onsite at Petaling Jaya office.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Full-Funnel GMV Growth: Drive the growth and performance of the e-commerce app business across all Southeast Asian markets. Execute multi-channel strategies (Meta, Google, TikTok, Apple Search, etc.) to achieve GMV, ROAS, and conversion cost targets.
  • Data Attribution & Strategic Optimization: Monitor and conduct deep-dive analysis of cross-channel data with a high sensitivity to Attribution Modeling. Real-time adjustment of budget allocation based on attribution shifts (e.g., multi-touch paths, click vs. view-through weightage) to maximize traffic value.
  • Creative & Product Synergy: Collaborate with the creative team to produce localized assets tailored to SEA's cultural nuances. Provide relevant feedback to the product team regarding pain points discovered during campaigns to guide on-platform conversion rate (CVR) improvements.
  • Growth Methodology: Identify and test new high-efficiency growth levers within the Southeast Asian landscape, moving beyond execution to build a scalable and repeatable growth strategy.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Experience: Bachelor's degree or above with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in overseas e-commerce performance marketing.
  • Platform Expertise: Proficiency in Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok Ads for e-commerce. Must understand the traffic weight and audience behavior differences across different SEA countries.
  • Attribution Sensitivity: data-driven with a deep understanding of GA4 attribution, SKAN/Privacy Sandbox, and third-party tracking (MMP) logic. Uncover hidden growth opportunities through granular data pivots.
  • Methodology: Must have experience successful campaigns and be able to share personal methodologies (e.g., scaling strategies, creative fatigue management, and rapid testing frameworks).
  • Market Insight: Familiar with the SEA e-commerce calendar (e.g., 9.9, 11.11, 12.12, Ramadan) and localized consumer habits/language nuances across the region.
  • Hard Skills: Fluency in English as a working language; expert proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Plus Factor: Experience with Automated or AI-assisted optimization tools/platforms.
