Get to Know the Role
This hybrid role combines the strategic planning skills of an account manager with the analytical expertise of a data analyst.
You will:
- Build Strong Merchant Relationships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with existing and potential top merchants.
- Manage Key Account Growth: Enhance key merchant accounts by increasing deliveries, GMV, and revenue.
- Drive Campaign Success: Proactively initiate, plan, and execute impactful campaigns.
- Develop Pricing Strategies: Recommend optimal pricing strategies for value-added services and ancillary income streams.
- You will report directly to the Manager, GrabMart and work onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Merchant Growth: Acquire and grow key merchant accounts, ensuring improvement in deliveries, GMV, and revenue.
- Merchant Support: Identify and address merchant pain points by investigating and validating concerns, mitigating escalations, and reaching resolutions.
- Campaign Analysis and Execution: Perform pre- and post-campaign analysis to measure success. This involves cross-functional collaboration and recommending enhancements based on data analysis and market trends.
- ROI Forecasting: Conduct forecasts and develop pricing strategies based on asset performance and industry insights.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in account management, business development, or data analysis. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or tech industries.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel (can perform complex functions) , SQL, Power BI) to obtain relevant insights and build data-driven strategies.
