Get to Know the Team
The Communications Team upholds the company's reputation and drives our narratives with the goals of increasing positive conversation, engagement, and sentiments toward the company.
As a strategic partner to business functions in Grab, the Communications Team helps to drive business objectives by ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders understand and support Grab's vision and business strategy, including but not limited to corporate partnerships, new products, partner programs, marketing campaigns, and internal programs.
Get to Know the Role
You will be responsible for planning, coordinate, and execute communications/PR campaigns aligned with company-wide objectives, budget management, and target tracking. To excel in this role, you need to be:
- Agile and capable of thriving in a dynamic working environment
- Have the ability to break down information from partners (both internal and external) and the role of Communications in addressing them with strategic approach
- Collaborative and high independency of work, with full accountability with the tasks given
You will reports to Head Communication and on-site working arrangements.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will create, execute, & manage communication plans and its budget allocation, in close coordination with the manager.
- You will manage the communications needs of different teams and identify possible support provided by the Comms Team.
- Oversee the agencies to ensure each agency's deliverables are aligned with the predetermined goals.
- Create content such as press releases, briefing books, speech, storylines, media's response sheets, and other related matters.
- Identify and assess speaking opportunities requests for leaders and internal employees.
- Involve in issue and crisis management.
- Develop strong working relationships with the most influential media and influencers in Indonesia.
- Work with internal & external partners (e.g. agencies) for administrative-related matters.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 5+ years of experience in Communication field with prior experience in PR/digital agency
- Able to breakdown and analyze problems into potential solutions while taking into account every communications recommendations and collateral available
- Deliver high-quality writing, demonstrated through captivating stories that effectively promote a product or business.
- Have strong relationships with a diverse range of tier-1 media's senior reporters and influencers.
- Experience working with multiple teams including social media, legal, product, marketing, and partnership teams.
- Excellent command of Indonesian and English (written and spoken).
- Experience working in a fast-growth company.
- A creative flair and curiosity to push new ideas.
