At Grab, the Deliveries team in Luzon is crucial in ensuring smooth delivery operations, in relation to our merchant partners. As part of this group, you'll collaborate with different stakeholders to drive growth and satisfaction.

Get to Know the Role

The Deliveries Assistant Manager is important to our operations in Greater Metro Manila. You'll lead a team focused on acquiring and maintaining relationships with merchants, ensuring a smooth operations, managing escalations, and driving business growth. This role is for someone who can oversee team performance, develop strategies, and ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction.

You'll report directly to the Manager of Merchant Operations, PH. This is a hybrid role, where you'll need to travel to our Pamanga office.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

  • Lead the team responsible for on-site merchant acquisition across Greater Metro Manila, ensuring targets are met.
  • Help develop merchant acquisition, retention strategies, and related monetization efforts like ads and promotions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine merchant strategies.
  • Report on team performance metrics, ensuring goals are met and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all merchant-related operations comply with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and central operations to enhance the merchant experience.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 4+ years experience in sales, business development, account management, or operations.
  • Experience handling and dealing with partners, with a preference for account management experience.
  • Experience driving revenue through partnerships.
  • Experience with the on-demand delivery space in food delivery.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
