Get to Know the Team

The Lending team builds safe, secure and versatile loan products for all user segments. We manage a range of platform primitive components such as Loan Management System, Repayments Engine and Product Flow Orchestrator to name a few.

Get to Know the Role 

We are looking for a experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our Lending Team. You will deliver high-quality features for critical services that bring end-to-end-user journeys across multiple products within the Grab lending ecosystem. You will work with product, business, and program management teams to ensure delivery of your projects. This is a hybrid role based in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Deliver and maintain high-quality, bug-free code, ensuring functionality.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of main services within the lending ecosystem.
• Improve and refactor systems to meet scalability and performance demands.
• Collaborate with teams to improve and enhance the tech stack.
• Implement best practices in frontend and backend development for scalability, efficiency, and security.
• Support SRE and DevOps teams in setting up and maintaining infrastructure and microservices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support and address critical issues.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Fullstack Development with Experience in building large scale micro-services.
• Proficient with at least one language commonly used for backend services development (Go, C++, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python), but willing to work on Go
• Proficient in HTTP protocol, experienced with MySQL databases, and knowledgeable in cloud technologies, including developing and deploying services on the cloud.
• Experience with the JavaScript programming language, familiar with multiple UI components and UI development, and have understanding of the JavaScript language.
• You will be reporting to an Engineering Manager
