Get to Know the Team

The Communications Platform Product Analytics team advances product innovation with analytics and experimentation best practices. We ship a large number of features and that means tuning models, evaluating changes and running experiments to drive better outcomes for our driver partners and millions of customers across South East Asia.

Get to Know the Role 

You will work with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders across the company with recommendations on how to learn from unexpected results, study underlying causes for them and iterate on the next set of products to build for our users. You will report to the Product Analytics Manager and be based onsite (hybrid) at Grab's Mapletree Business Centre, D7, HCMC.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Use data to analyze business and product performance across markets.
  • Investigate business and product issues to discover insights and growth areas.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and analyze experiments for key product decisions.
  • Adapt models to new markets for continuous product improvement.
  • Develop models to understand and address suboptimal product configurations.
  • Manage anomaly detection systems to alert on changes and anomalies in metrics.
  • Create analytics tools to enhance team efficiency in debugging, data summarization, and result analysis.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product/Business/Data Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Presto, ETL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Knowledge of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proven track record in crafting analytics.
  • Proficiency in English communications, both written and verbal.
