The Fulfilment team's mission is to make Grab the platform of choice for Driver Partners by supporting them efficiently on and off the road. Our design team is divided into several empowered teams focused on creating an efficient app experience, ensuring fair and transparent earnings, and maintaining a healthy supply pipeline. We focus on creating solutions that are simple and delightful for our Driver Partners.

Get to know the role

As a Senior Design Manager on the Fulfilment team, you will report to the Head of Design and manage designers and UX writers who work collaboratively across various problem spaces. Your team will explore user and business needs to create impactful solutions that support our mission.

We're looking for design managers who can coach and mentor a growing team and help them positively impact how millions of people across Southeast Asia interact with Grab. This role is based in Singapore and is a hybrid role.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will drive design outcomes, contribute to product strategy, and elevate design quality across teams.
  • You will manage Product Designers, UX Writers, and UX Researchers working across several problem spaces.
  • You will coach and mentor designers in solving complex and novel problems in simple and impactful ways.
  • You will ensure design quality and superior user experience.
  • You will drive and improve cross-functional collaboration at all levels.
  • You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, Research, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver impact.
  • You will articulate complex thinking in a clear, convincing, and concise manner.
  • You will develop and implement effective design processes.

Qualifications

What Skills You Will Need

  • At least 7 years in Product Design, with some experience in Fulfilment or Driver domain preferred. Minimum 4 years managing design teams.
  • An online portfolio or case studies demonstrating your user-centered design.
  • Proficiency in visual design, prototyping, and interaction design.
  • Strong capability in designing user experiences for web and mobile platforms.
  • Proven history of working effectively within product teams.
  • Experienced in using Figma, Sketch, Protopie, and other design tools.
  • Experience with mobile and front-end web standards and development.
  • Experience in User Research, Service Design, UX Writing, or Design Operations.
