Our team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab. Get to know the role

As a business development executive, you will be responsible in establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential relationship to drive growth for Grab. You will lead all elements of business identification, strategy, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy. You will help co-create the business development plan and roadmap to ensure that it is synchronised with the overall Grab strategic direction and will be the key owner of various business development initiatives and ensure it have a successful delivery.

 

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • You plan and prioritise merchant partners to pursue, aligning with the overall strategy for GrabFood
  • You leverage the use of existing internal data to create content for a partnership model
  • You engage and prioritise partners for discussion, structuring and negotiation
  • You will work closely with internal product team and marketing operations team to execute campaigns and initiatives
  • Participate in brain storming sessions with team mates
  • You will collaborate with the local business development team to align on strategy and partnership targets

 

 

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • You have Heart, Humility, Hunger, Honour ▪ You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, management or marketing
  • You have a minimum of a year experience in dealing with a major brand(s), working on contract terms, negotiating and collaboration campaigns
  • You can articulate and write well in English, with the ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multifaceted deals
  • Your experience in the F&B industry will be an advantage to your application
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and GSuite applications
  • You can perform independently and be participative in a team setting
  • You are able to practise a high level of discretion, strong sense of accountability, self-motivated, good sense of business/ cultural priorities and nuances
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office / Gsuite Applications and is adept in creating presentations
  • You know how to develop professional relationships with your stakeholders and are able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
