Job Description

Location: Warrington

Shift: Nights, 6pm - 6am

We’re excited to be looking for a Factory Analyst to join our Warrington Control Room on our Night Shift, playing a vital role in keeping our factory operations running smoothly across both Warrington and Claylake. At the heart of our operation, you’ll ensure the seamless flow of information and system stability that underpins everything we do—helping us deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for our customers.

In this role, you’ll be the first line of support for operational issues, monitoring systems in real time, processing critical data, and ensuring accurate reporting to keep product flowing across our sites. Working closely with the Systems team, Front Bank Team, and Lead Factory Analyst, you’ll collaborate to resolve challenges quickly and effectively, maintaining control and stability in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. If you thrive on problem-solving, real-time decision-making, and being at the centre of operations, this is a role where you’ll make a tangible difference every day.

Core Responsibilities

  • Active Monitoring: Proactively monitor dashboards (Zabbix, Power BI, Meraki) and warehouse systems (JDA, GWC) to identify system or stock issues across Warrington and Claylake.
  • Data Integrity: Accurately process information within the WMS, ensuring stock profiles are aligned with live production requirements.
  • Reporting Excellence: Create and interpret data regularly to keep Operations informed on stock flow and performance.
  • First-Line Triage: Act as the initial point of contact for operational issues via Slack, carrying out basic investigations to assess severity and determine next steps.
  • Escalation Management: Follow established protocols to escalate technical or operational blockers to the appropriate teams, including Systems, Engineering, Infrastructure, Warehouse, or Pickline.
  • Order Flow Support: Review orders and address shortages in real time, working closely with Production to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Provide clear, timely updates to Operations on system status and any flow-related issues.
  • Process Documentation: Ensure all incident communications are completed and shared accurately in line with SLAs.
  • Workload Coordination: Support on-shift coordination by ensuring system monitoring and reporting tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Who you are

  • Data Literate: You have a high level of computer literacy, with experience using Google Sheets or Excel to create, analyse, and interpret data.
  • System Curious: You have experience with, or a strong willingness to learn, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as JDA or GWC.
  • Operationally Minded: You understand the pace and pressure of warehouse, FMCG, or production environments and can operate effectively within them.
  • Clear Communicator: You have strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain technical issues—particularly via tools like Slack.
  • Detail Oriented: You have a sharp eye for detail, ensuring data accuracy and identifying discrepancies between systems and real-world operations.
  • Problem Spotter: You can quickly identify when something doesn’t look right, connecting the dots between dashboards and physical factory flow.
  • Resilient: You can maintain focus, performance, and accuracy while working longer shifts in a fast-paced environment.
