Job Description

The team is responsible for supporting and configuring the core systems that power our live factory environment, including Blue Yonder (JDA) Dispatcher WMS and associated Warehouse Control and automation systems. Working closely with warehouse operations, automation partners, and technology teams, the role acts as a key bridge between operational needs and technical delivery, ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose.

The primary focus of the role is to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Gousto’s operational systems. You’ll support day-to-day warehouse operations, deliver system enhancements and project rollouts, and help embed new functionality into BAU processes. With system performance directly impacting throughput and service levels, this role has immediate and visible operational impact, playing a critical part in enabling Gousto to operate efficiently today while scaling for future growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Configure, support, and analyse Blue Yonder (JDA) Dispatcher WMS and associated Warehouse Control and automation systems supporting the Warrington factory
  • Deliver BAU technical support by investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and resolving system issues in line with operational SLAs
  • Support the development, implementation, and rollout of WMS changes, enhancements, and projects into live operations
  • Gather, analyse, and validate operational and business requirements, translating them into clear technical and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with Platform Development Teams and Tribes to shape and deliver system solutions aligned to wider supply chain objectives
  • Support system testing activities including test script creation, UAT execution, and defect management
  • Analyse WMS data, Oracle databases, and reporting outputs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Create and maintain system, process, and procedural documentation to support consistent operational usage
  • Work closely with warehouse operations, automation teams, and supply chain stakeholders to support day-to-day operations
  • Contribute to building a stable, scalable operational systems foundation that enables Gousto’s continued growth

Who You Are

  • Experienced in hands-on configuration and support of Blue Yonder (JDA) Dispatcher WMS within a live warehouse environment
  • Knowledgeable in warehouse operations and supply chain processes, with experience gained through operational or systems-focused WMS roles
  • Confident working with WMS configuration tools, including Dispatcher configuration, database tables, and DDA design and setup
  • Comfortable navigating Oracle databases, with an understanding of table structures and relationships relevant to WMS systems
  • Able to write and analyse SQL queries to support reporting, investigation, and operational insight
  • Familiar with developing, modifying, or analysing Jasper reports to monitor system and warehouse performance
  • Skilled in gathering and analysing requirements, translating operational needs into clear technical and functional specifications
  • Experienced in supporting system testing and rollout activities, including test scripting, UAT support, and defect resolution
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify system issues, risks, and improvement opportunities and devise practical solutions
