Job Description

Data has been at the heart of Gousto from the start!

Analysts are embedded in cross-functional tribes to ensure data-driven decision making continues to pave the way for success at Gousto. This helps you to work closely with your stakeholders to provide actionable insight on performance and future opportunities. 

Product analysts support the full spectrum of the development lifecycle, from discovery to experimentation. Your insights will inform which hypotheses we evaluate and prioritise what we build. You will assess the impact through experimentation and support the tracking of performance against OKRs.

This job is based at our HQ in London and reporting to the Senior Product Analyst for our Choice tribe, supporting one of our front-end squads.

To be successful in this role, you will be motivated by having a passion for solving complex problems, working closely with stakeholders and championing data-driven decision making. You will be part of the Product Analytics community, sharing knowledge and improving processes to build a best in class Product Analytics practice at Gousto.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable insights on customer needs and pain points in the Gousto app and web experiences to drive optimisation programmes

  • Proactively identify opportunities that are accretive to the team's roadmap

  • Determine most important KPIs to track aligned to commercial objectives, informing measurement framework for OKRs and experimentation

  • Analyse outcomes of experiments to inform launch decisions and drive learning

  • Work closely with data scientists, the product team, and the food teams to ensure our digital product is progressing in the right direction

  • Demonstrate compelling storytelling and data visualisation to convey complex narratives clearly and influence decisions

  • Work with the wider Analytics team in embedding and fostering best in class tools, systems and processes

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Strong quantitative analytical skills, critical thinker with a customer-centric approach

  • Experience in analysing and visualising web/app user behaviour and/or utilising web analytics tools (such as GA4 / Mixpanel)

  • At ease working with complex data sets in Python / SQL / R to develop analytical solutions/insights

  • A/B testing experience is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and insightful analysis, contributing to commercial and marketing objectives

  • Self starter with excellent project management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, works well with diverse stakeholders and communicates effectively, including with non-technical colleagues

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is a plus
