Job Description

Under supervision of the Store Manager, the Key Holder provides secondary support in the operations and activities of the retail store/warehouse to help ensure maximum revenues and effectiveness. This is a Full Time position.

Key Holder
Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating the proper processing and separation of incoming donations, outlet merchandise and salvage goods.
• Assist in coordinating used goods processing through the proper application of techniques: sorting, preparing, and pricing items for sale. 
• Participates in ensuring production goals are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.
• Participates and assists in ensuring that store meets or exceeds sales goals on a consistent basis.
• Assist in ensuring that store is presenting quality customer service in a timely and courteous manner to all shoppers, donors and employees.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of building interior, building exterior and parking lot.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly store processing area, good housekeeping and work environment.
• Assist in ensuring machinery is in proper working order.
• Assist in ensuring that safety procedures are understood and followed by all staff and store employees.
• Assist in ensuring all asset protection matters are reported, investigated and corrected in a timely manner.
• Assist in ensuring proper cash handling, enforcement of cash register procedures and submission of required reports.
• Moving materials to the various stations of the salvage process.
• Manually placing materials into the various machines of the salvage process.
• Operating all the Tippers, Compactor and Balers of the salvage process. 
• Adhering to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE while processing salvage.
• Rotation of salvage tables into and out of the outlet sales floor.
• Sorting of assigned materials.

Qualifications

• Experience and ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Ability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting items up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of proper safety standards and techniques for lifting and team lifting.
• Knowledge in use of tie downs, ropes, straps, and padding while loading trucks.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the Tipper, Balers and Compactor with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Sufficient knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
• 1+ years of experience in retail 
• Good communication skills
• Cash handling experience required
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge in retail field or warehouse helpful.
• Strong leadership, organizational & motivational skills.

Additional Information

Full Time- $12.50 per hour
