Job Description
This is a full-time, entry-level position that starts at $8.46 an hour. Some part-time positions available as well.
Location is 5100 Tice Street, Fort Myers, FL 33905.
JOB FUNCTION:
Primary duties include the receipt, recording, sorting of donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system. Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills. Processes to meet or exceed set production goals, with specific focus on process improvement and increase productivity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sorts donations as outlined by the Kaizen system and follows all RAW/Salvage sorts and labeling guidelines.
- Hang soft-lines in a timely manner to meet or exceed set production goals/standards.
- Records soft-line production accurately using the rack count sheets
- Meets or exceeds set hard-line processing goals/standards.
- Records hard-line production accurately using the tally sheets.
- Increases productivity and strives for continuous process improvement.
- Executes the Kaizen 5-minute drills to maintain clean/safe workstations.
- Sort, box and label hangers by type.
- Follows all processing guidelines including the rubber banding of shoes or other specified procedures.
- Push rolling racks or hoppers onto the sales floor and merchandise in specified areas and according to color and category.

8. Ability to report any incident/accident to the Manager on Duty.
9. Ability to immediately correct unsafe conditions or notify Manager on Duty.
10. Good communication skills.
11. Good judgment, patience, and understanding.
12. Knowledge of basic math skills.
13. Ability to keep work is free from clutter to avoid injury to co-workers and customers.
14. Proactively seek knowledge on services.
15. May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate Understand and follow oral instructions.
16. Ability to work under stressful conditions.
