Job Description

Responsible for GIKV building maintenance, repairs, and renovations to
optimize safety, security, functionality and aesthetics of the agency's
leased and owned properties and vehicle fleet. Also includes work with
outsourced IT vendor to address IT needs as well as simple IT requests. 


Twelve months related experience and/or training that include
electrical, HVAC, plumbing, construction and/or vehicles; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.  Supervisory experience

Additional Information

Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to
finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The
employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently
lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally left and/or move up to
50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, and depth perception.  Regular local travel required. 


Work Environment: 
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally
exposed to dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions,
risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate but occasionally loud. 

Position is full time.
