Job Description

Program Assistant needed in the Adult Day Program to assist with the daily operations of Kaleidoscope, a recreation and leisure program serving adults with developmental disabilities.

ON-CALL Position $10.00/HOUR  5-25 hours per week

Hours vary between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday - Friday

Qualifications

Experience and Education 

•High School Diploma required.

Minimum of two years experience working with and/or training people with disabilities.

* Must have a valid drivers’ license for at least 3 years, minimum 21 years of age, good driving record, access to a personal vehicle with liability automobile insurance and be insurable through the agency’s insurance carrier in order to drive an agency vehicle.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to participate in recreational activities and assist participants with mobility devices in the center and on field trips which could involve lifting, pushing, bending and reaching. Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.
