Under general direction, purchase goods and materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner.  In addition, to update pricing in a timely and precise means in order to maintain our profits in support of our Retail, Service, Pools, Spas and Renovations teams.   This position will represent the warehouse division in all dealings with fellow staff as well as interactions with affiliated non-company personnel, ie: vendors, sales representatives, etc. This position will include but is not limited to the following:  timely ordering of materials, monitoring stock levels, developing and maintaining key relationships with suppliers, communicating between divisions regarding pricing, lead times, changes in supply, etc.  In addition, this position will offer support for the Purchasing/Warehouse/Distribution Manager as directed.  Ultimately, will strive to meet expected requirements in a cost-effective manner within this division of the company.
