Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst role based at our Headquarters in Newmarket.  We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team.  In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting various financial activities, providing valuable insights and analysis to drive informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing day to day financial support to the Property and Facilities department
  • Preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and variance investigation to track and analyse department performance.
  • Assist in providing alternatives and recommendation to improve efficiencies
  • Business partnering with key internal stakeholders
  • Developing, enhancing and implementing financial processes and systems within the Property and Estates department
  • Work with the department to generate budgets and financial forecasts
  • Track and analyse operating and capital expenditure across the department ensuring budgetary control
  • Review bid proposals and provide advice and guidance to management
  • ESOS Reporting
  • Project work

Qualifications

Skills and experience

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified (at least 2years PQE) or have proven experience
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Experience of management reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, have a pro-active approach with ability to critically assess and challenge
  • Good technical knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills and proficient in using financial software
  • Ability to review, analyse and present large amounts of data to management.

Working hours for this position are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
