The Role
Godolphin are seeking to recruit a Farrier to join our team based at Moulton Paddocks.  

Reporting to the Trainer, you will be an expert practitioner in your field and hold a proven track record of thriving in busy and demanding racing yards. We are looking for someone who wishes to work in a first-class environment alongside talented and passionate colleagues; hard work and a desire to uphold our values of excellence are paramount. 

Good communication skills are essential as the successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for horse and rider, it is important that your high-quality work instils confidence in your colleagues.      

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about their work and have a positive attitude to learning and self-development.  A flexible attitude to working hours is essential as the role involves long hours and international travel. It will be commonplace for you to spend approximately four months in the UAE each year in line with the yards busy international racing schedule. Subject to a satisfactory probationary period, this is a fantastic opportunity to become the lead Farrier of a successful racing stable.
 

Required skills and qualifications: 

• Minimum Dip WCF or Equivalent.
• Proficient in all aspects of remedial farriery.
• Full UK Driving License.
