Job Description

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting and implementing/updating solutions
  • Provide Sitecore guidance into the selection, scope, design, development, delivery and continual service improvement of technology solutions.
  • Nurture/enforce and monitor product technical excellence and high quality
  • Ensure all technical documentation is complete, accurate, and current for new or modified modules/applications according to defined guidelines and standards
  • Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and document components develop by self and others as per the requirements and detailed design
  • Conduct testing and code review, deployment in a continuous integration environment (CI)
  • Champion continuous improvement in the Sitecore platform team and the wider engineering teams.
  • Assist with support analysis and troubleshooting on primarily Sitecore platforms and, where possible other internal systems

Other duties and tasks will be assigned as required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years expertise in a Developer position.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Sitecore products (XM, Content Hub).
  • Proficiency in Sitecore development frameworks and tools, including Unicorn, SXA, and JSS.
  • Strong understanding of Sitecore Helix architecture principles.
  • Experience in the latest version of Sitecore (version 10)
  • Solid experience in object-oriented programming using .NET (.NET Core) and C#
  • Proficient in SQL language, specifically MSSQL and extensive experience with web technologies, including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, particularly in AWS, for deploying and managing applications in scalable environments.
  • Highlight expertise in API management and web service programming methods, with a focus on RESTful and GraphQL.
  • Experience with source control, and deployment technologies such as Git, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Agile project toolings such as JIRA and Confluence, reflecting a seasoned approach to project management.
  • Previous experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
